Entry Criteria
This can apply to any sector or building type regardless of size and scale.
Project of the Year will highlight outstanding examples across the UK construction landscape that have been designed and delivered using timber technology as a major component part of its brief.
The winner will have proved that they have used timber solutions with skill and ingenuity to create a sustainable low-carbon building, showcasing the structural and engineering strengths of timber.
Entrants must show how they have met client/project expectations in providing a sustainable, energy efficient and cost-effective contemporary building, as well as how cost-predictability, economy, accuracy, transportability, and installation speed have all been achieved.
The focus will be on projects delivering exceptional levels of architectural design, detailing and installation/erection. Particular note will be made of circular economy principles, proof of outstanding energy performance levels and low environmental impact, technical achievement, supply chain management and overall best practice.
